据悉，电影《小黄人大眼萌2：格鲁的崛起》是《神偷奶爸》系列前传，故事发生在格鲁的少年时代，讲述他与小黄人的结缘往事，小黄人们通过应聘，成为"坏蛋梦想家"格鲁的助手，但他们从"极恶六天王"手中盗走的宝石，却被小黄人新成员弄丢，并由此引发一连串的奇趣故事。影片将于7月1日在北美上映。
