网讯 日前，《加勒比海盗》系列制片人杰瑞·布鲁克海默在接受采访时透露，下一部《加勒比海盗》将会是重启新版，使用全新的主角阵容，而他给出的理由是，“这样演员找起来会更加容易，因为你不必等待特定的演员的时间了。”据悉，布鲁克海默早在2022年就证实，在前五部《加勒比海盗》中饰演杰克·斯派罗船长的约翰尼·德普不会参演第六部。
《加勒比海盗》第一部于2002年上映，由约翰尼·德普、杰弗里·拉什、奥兰多·布鲁姆、凯拉·奈特莉等人主演。截至2017年上映的《加勒比海盗5：死无对证》，该系列在10余年间共推出5部电影，讲述了17世纪的海盗杰克·斯帕罗充满危险的加勒比冒险之旅的故事。
